These three items were my initial inspirations that formed the basis of my ideas. There is the cage, a matchbox and a tennis ball. The matchbox had the most effect on my ideas.
just some planning and random thoughts
It's a little hard to see in the photo, but i mapped out my first plan at 1:1 scale in my driveway. I then stepped through it and tried to imagine what would go where and my surroundings. When i did this i also realised i didnt like the proportions of the building. I think its a great idea to just find a blank concreted area and mark out in chalk what your plan is looking like so you can really try to experience it.
I also made a quick model to visualise how i wanted the boxes to slide into each other for relocating purposes.

great idea about using chalk to map out the section of ur idea!! just wondering what materials ur thinking if using and if u had figured out the bathroom system (i remember last tutorial with mat ur were still in developmental process. oh i was looking through a book and found a minimal living building that could be useful:
