MINIMA

My main inspiration was the Volkswagen Beetle and also other things as demonstrated on the borders of my posters. This is reflected in the form of the design. It has a retract actable roof like that of a convertible and that was the main feature of the design. Made of waterproof canvas the roof functions like that of a roof of a convertible car. The internal space is minimal, simply housing the main liveable areas, providing nothing further in terms of creative design, which was reflected in the feedback I got. It was totally genuine and I do agree that I could have pushed the boundaries a bit more in terms of the internal form and function, and as Matt was criticising there were a few ideas bouncing off my head.. just a pity I couldn’t implement them in my design.
