Minima - Aynur

For Minima...I chose a perfects site to base my design, right infront of the waterfront campus, accross the road, on a large footpath area where thers a kids playground, lots of trees and a gorgeous view!!!!

Considering that this design was also supposed to be like the Tablinum only with a few new requirements like a kitchen, eating and shower space, besides the study and sleeping quarters...most importantly a building that was to be portable! So this was like designing a mini home...for myself... :)

Personally I love the view at that location, mainly because of the relaxing and comfortable environment: facing towards the rustling sea, opposite the busy streets of geelong. With the waves and the trees blowing and splasing against the wind, i can only imagine a design that would reflect and blend into its environment.

From the beginning i had the idea of incorporating a wave shape circular design into the roof or the wall. Eventually I chose the roof to curve from the floor the the ceiling towards the north which was facing the sea, which was a perfect view for me!
