Tablinum - Aynur

After some extensive research and thought into minimum spaces...ive decided that there isnt one perticular minimum size or area that would suit everyone. In my opinion its more a personal thing than anything else. Everyone has a personal space, which is somethig like an invisible boundary circling them. This space or boundary becomes something like a comfort zone or a safe zone! So to define minimum space and to design one would mean to look at the individuals personal space and decide on what the perfect minimal space for them is.

For this project Ive chosen the site infront of the library on the 3rd floor. I thaught it was a perfect location as it was a quieter area due to the library, close to the toilets and had a better view overlooking the 2nd floor and out to the waterfront area. There seems to be good light and air flow all the time, perfects for a study environment.

Considering that the Tablinum is meant to be designed for ourselvse, ive chosen not to go too minimal in space as i hate being in tight or fully enclosed spaces for too long. So ive chosen a space that gives me room to stretch and work in with comfort!
